5.1. Transactions: By making purchases through our site, you agree to the payment terms and any applicable policies.

5.2. Returns: There are no cash refunds; we issue credit notes to be applied to future purchases, which are valid for 60 days. The process can be done in person since, as it involves a return of an item, it must be delivered to the store for its respective inspection and approval of the return. Warranties are for 6 months for manufacturing defects and 30 days for electrical items.

5.2.1. Changes or returns of merchandise incur a 25% penalty of the value of the item.

5.3. Discounts: Discounts apply only for cash payment or bank transfer according to the applicable discount percentage at the time of purchase, meaning it depends on the promotions and/or offers valid at the specific time, which may vary according to the season and are limited to the specified period of time.

5.4. Warehousing: Free warehousing service for 30 calendar days from the purchase date indicated on the invoice; after this period, a 2% monthly fee will be charged on the total amount of the invoice.

5.5. Layaways: Merchandise layaways are made with a 30% down payment of the merchandise value and are valid for 30 business days. If the total balance is not paid within this period, the customer will forfeit the advance payment and must pay the full price of the item.

5.6. Transportation: Transportation is NOT included in the sale. We offer the service at a reasonable additional cost according to the quantity and place of delivery, so the cost may vary and can be quoted prior to shipment.

5.7. Warranty: Our items have a 6-month warranty (from the invoice date), except for electronic items (see section 5.7.2 for more details).

5.7.1. The customer must present the item to Hábitat Muebles, S.A., to apply the warranty and determine its eligibility.

5.7.2. The warranty on electronic items is valid for 30 calendar days from the delivery date (such as lamps, mirrors with LED lights, sofas, and electric recliners).

5.7.3. Warranties apply to manufacturing defects; they will be voided by mishandling, damage due to misuse, and/or modifications or alterations made by the buyer.

5.8. Merchandise Pickup: Items must be picked up at our warehouse located at Ofibodegas Capri: warehouse #2, by presenting the purchase invoice, with prior coordination 24 hours in advance at the telephone: +506 7223 4080.

5.8.1. The person picking up the merchandise is obligated to physically inspect the item(s) at the time of dispatch in our warehouse. Once the item is delivered, responsibility falls on the person who picked it up.
